High tea, a ladies fashion show, live entertainment, opportunity drawings and more! We want to put the “fun” in fundraising. Did you know each concert costs approximately $15,000 to produce? Association and Guild members are going into the community and asking for contributions to make this a highly profitable event. Below is the message they are handing to merchants and individual supporters.
Dear Community Friends,
The La Mirada Symphony Association (Tax ID 94-3223735) will hold a Tea and Symphony Fashion Show event on September 27, 2014 to kick off the A Touch of Classical season of fine music at the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts.
The community orchestra is celebrating its 52nd year of presenting concerts. Your generous donations of gifts or services will ensure continuation of our traditional free community concerts, as well as our concerts for youth, our instrumental ensemble visits to schools, and the opportunity for young honor band musicians to perform on stage with the orchestra. It is only with the help of our friends and businesses that these programs will see a bright future. With an annual budget of approximately $85,000, fund raising events are vital to keep the music playing.
We will use your tax deductible donations for table favors and giveaways at the event which will be held at the La Mirada Neff Park Barn. Monetary donations are also welcome to defray costs.
To make arrangements for donations please contact Rose Bourassa at LMSymphonyGuild@aol.com or call 714-930-6209.
Thank you for your generosity.
Do your part to keep the music alive!
