The La Mirada Symphony proudly announces that Morgan Brittany, acclaimed American film and television actress, will narrate Aaron Copland’s Lincoln Portrait at the upcoming Salute to America POPS concert, taking place on Sunday, February 23 at 3 PM.
From Hollywood to the Concert Stage
Morgan Brittany, widely recognized for her role as Katherine Wentworth in the iconic 1980s prime-time series Dallas, brings her dynamic presence to the stage in this powerful tribute to American heritage. In Dallas, she portrayed the scheming half-sister of Pamela Ewing and Cliff Barnes, captivating millions of viewers across the country.
Before becoming a household name, Morgan began her career as a child actress under her birth name, Suzanne Cupito. Throughout the 1960s, she appeared in popular television programs such as Sea Hunt, My Three Sons, and The Andy Griffith Show. On the big screen, she starred in classic films like Yours, Mine and Ours, alongside Lucille Ball and Henry Fonda, and played June in Gypsy, portraying the daughter of Rosalind Russell.
A Career in Spotlight and Beyond
At age 18, she reinvented herself professionally as Morgan Brittany and launched a successful modeling career with the Ford Agency. She quickly became one of the most recognizable faces in America, famously starring as the Ultra Brite Toothpaste girl for three years and appearing in countless print and television advertisements.
