Two POPS Concerts End Golden Anniversary Season
The big day is almost here–two POPS concerts celebrating 5o years of beautiful music from the La Mirada Symphony.
3 pm–Free admission–“Celebration of Song” Dr. Robert Frelly and the La Mirada Symphony offer selections from “Oklahoma,” “South Pacific,” “An American in Paris,” “Disney Magic”–and more. $5 donation suggested.
5:30 –La Mirada and Norwalk Chambers of Commerce Business Mixer in the upstairs lobby. Joseph Yakovetic and Jamie Shaheen provide entertainment of music and performance painting.

8 pm– Gala Fundraiser POPS Concert featuring Susan Egan and the La Mirada Symphony. Songs include–Judy Garland Medley, “And All That Jazz,” “Don’t Rain On My Parade,” “Cabaret,” and “Beauty and the Beast.” Tickets available through the La Mirada Theatre Box Office at 562-944-9801. 10 pm–After Glow Reception–Former La Mirada Mayor, Hal Malkin, will serve as Emcee as we celebrate our Golden Anniversary. Festivities include live auction of artwork by Joseph Yakovetic, appearances by Robert Frelly, Susan Egan, Joseph Yakovetic and Jamie Shaheen. Refreshments served.
